A design concept for a period apartment in central London. The challenge was to honour the building’s architectural heritage while delivering a fully modern interior suited to contemporary living.
Client Brief
The client wanted to preserve original features including cornicing, fireplaces, and ceiling roses, while updating the kitchen, bathrooms, and storage for a young professional lifestyle.
Design Approach
We paired restored period details with clean contemporary furniture and a muted colour palette of soft greys, warm whites, and natural oak. Clever storage solutions make every room feel larger than its footprint.
Outcome
The apartment respects its history while feeling entirely current. Period charm and modern function sit comfortably together, creating a home that feels both characterful and effortless.
